OPEN HOUSE    September 26th

SS OPEN HOUSE SATURDAY SEPT 26png F.png

Sankofa Saturdays is not a boring sit down and say nothing experience!  This is a dynamic, child-centered experience that encourages active engagement with a lot of fun!  At Sankofa Saturdays children are immersed in the rich culture and history of the African diaspora through hands-on learning, movement and skills building activities.

Throughout Sankofa Saturdays, children will engage in critical thinking activities designed to build leadership skills, strengthen self-esteem, and develop a wealth of knowledge.  Rooted in Afrofuturism, children will (re)discover how knowledge is empowering, liberating, and self-affirming.  All children are welcome regardless of race, color, ethnicity, or national origin.  Sankofa Saturdays will equip children with a healthy worldview and the skills to help shape the world now and in the future.

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC (children ages 5-15).  Lunch provided.

Registration in advance or on-site is required.

First come first served, seats are limited.

Sankofa Saturdays Fall-Winter Experience
