First things first: Black people vote.  What you need to know is that if you have not voted or are not registered to vote, doing so is as easy as 1-2-3.  Golden Day is the day when you can register to vote and vote on the same day.  Golden Day in New York State is October 24, 2026. 



The last day to register to vote in New York State is October 24, 2026.  The first day of early voting for the General Election is October 24, 2026.  Election Day for the 2026 General Election is November 3, 2026. 

If you know someone who is not registered or has not voted, let them know
voting is it's easy as 1-2-3!
